The Downshire Arms has two function rooms.

The Library is, as the name suggests, a small intimate room lined with books. It is ideal for up to 20 people who require private meeting space and is often booked for private dinner parties.

The Terrace Room has a capacity of aproximately 100 and has the added advantage of a Bar. It can be hired for small wedding receptions, meetings, Christening parties and conferences. The Terrace Room has a stage area ideal for top table speeches or live entertainment which we can arrange on your behalf.

It also has projection facilities for audio-visual presentations. In finer weather, a paved terrace can be accessed from french windows. The level of catering depends on your own particular requirements and ranges from simple coffee and biscuits to a four course dinner.
